signing her newest book,
As part of our Children's Book Week celebrations, we will host Hena Khan as she presents her newest book published by the Salaam Reads imprint of Simon & Schuster. The event is free and open to the public. Event consists of a short presentation followed by an audience Q&A, which is a great time for kids to ask questions about the series or writing in general. Afterwords, Hena will sign books.
Avid fans are welcome to bring copies of books they have from home; however, please remember that you can only get this live and in-person experience from Once Upon A Time Bookstore.
BEST GIFT IDEA! If you are not able to make it to the event but would like a book signed please, order below at least 24 hours before the event and put in the order comments if you would like Hena to personalize with a name or school. You can also call at (818) 248-9668.
Please keep your receipts as we will be checking for proof of purchase before you enter the signing line.

An amazing picture book that shows the power of art. Minh Le and Dan Santat (local author!) team up to create a powerful story about family, love, and strength. All with just a few words and a lot of action on the page. I loved the way the two drawing styles came together. - Jessica
