The Campbell Hall Book Week is taking place virtually this year during the week of April 26th. We have two award-winning authors who will engage with our elementary students during this annual event.   Middle grade author Varian Johnson will speak to 3rd - 6th graders and author Julie Berry will speak to K-2nd graders.   If you'd like to order a signed book from one or both of the authors, please look through the offerings (below) presented by our local bookseller partner - Once Upon a Time.    Books will be shipped out to each student's home approximately 2 weeks after the event.   Order deadline for books is Sunday, May 2nd.

What a joyful read! While tackling very real topics, such as social expectations of people's bodies, cultural identity, and challenging family dynamics, "Chunky" uses a delightful play-by-play sports casting style throughout the book that truly engages the reader in Yehudi Mercado's journey. Yehudi and his imaginary mascot Chunky take the reader through the meandering explorations of growing up, from the things you choose to explore yourself to the things others force you to explore, but recognizing your truth nonetheless.
