I loved this book with its not-so-distant future as the backdrop of a thoroughly compelling world that Lark, miraculously, survives. Help comes from man's best friend and unlikely allies in this can't-put-down novel I didn't want to end. A real triumph of writing with glorious descriptions of the natural world.
